About the Show

Wilber the Cat is a family-friendly web series for all ages.

On january 12th, 2008, a 30 second preview appeared on YouTube. On February 28th, that was followed by the first episode of Wilber the Cat. It was filmed like a parody of MTV’s Cribs, but with a cat. The episode quickly generated over a quarter of a million views.

Originally, Wilber the Cat was conceived as a short film, not a series. There were no plans to make future episodes. After the success of the original, we made a second episode called Wilber Goes to the Vet.

From there, the episodes kept coming.

All of the episodes are written, edited, and directed by Philadelphia filmmaker Eric Moyer. The voice of wilber is performed by Erik Bortz. His daughter, Ava, is the little girl who usually appears in the opening credits. Eriks wife, Sara Berret has voiced many supporting characters.

Here is a short video featuring the one and only voice of Wilber the Cat, Erik Bortz!:

Stay tuned for new episodes featuring old and new characters!
